This is the first NA Paranormal book I have read and I absolutely loved it. I am so happy the Author Alisa Woods told the story from both Mia and Lucas's POV. I like being able to get inside of the guys head and see what he is thinking and not just the girls. The story flowed at just the right pace. I didn't want to put it down. Mia's character was a nice change of pace. She is smart, strong and knows what she wants. She is looking to make a better life for herself and her mom. Then Lucas comes barging into her life and changes everything. Ever since that night Lucas saves her life from Lucas's rivals, the Red Wolf's, she can't seem to forget about him. Nor can Lucas forget about her. Let me start off by saying that Lucas *fans self* is one sexy as hell Alpha that will have you wanting more. He becomes very protective of Mia. While fighting the urge to make her his. I loved the growing passion between them. But when things get too heated and the claws come out, secrets are revealed. And let me tell you, I was not expecting that ending. I thought one thing, and boy was I wrong. Gah! I can't wait till the next book. I can't wait to see where Mia and Lucas's story goes from here.

I couldn't wait to start this book, after the way Desired ended with those major secrets revealed. I dove right in and couldn't put it done. Yes, it is a short read. But hey, I loved it all the same. This books picks up right after said secrets are revealed. I couldn't wait to see how Lucas reacted to Mia's secret and vice versa. Throughout the book Lucas is very adamant about keeping Mia within an arms reach, close enough to protect her, but far enough away where he won't be tempted to claim her. After what happened to his wife/mate Tila, how could you blame him?! At the same time I wanted to shake him and just tell him to let it go, the past is the past you can't change it. But being Lucas, that is not how he works. He feels so much hurt and guilt over what happened he try's to fight his feelings for Mia, like his and her life depends on it. Mia on the other hand does the complete opposite. She wants to be with Lucas and she wants him to claim her. The way she feels with Lucas, she has never experienced with anybody else. With Lucas, she feels like she belongs. Even after learning the truth about Tila, she is more determined than ever to help him get past everything that is holding him back from them being together. After a little reluctance, Lucas finally gives in and opens up about what exactly happened to Tila and let me tell you that was a shocker that I was not expecting. This story keeps getting more intriguing and entertaining the more I read. We also get to see little more of Lucas's dad Mr. Sparks. I like his character a lot. He has agreed to pack protection for Mia. He seems like a very strong character that you don't want to mess with. I also am loving Mia's best friend Jupiter. She is spunky and fun, a nice element to Mia's life. I can't say enough about Lucas and Paisley's chemistry. They have some hot, passionate and sexy scenes in this book. They literally can't keep there hands to themselves. Even with all the doubts and questions that still linger between them. They are meant to be. By the end of the book, I was left wanting more. I can't wait to get my hands on Hunted. This is a great story that keeps getting better and better the more I read.

My Review
But the idea that the human part of her was falling in love as well… it made tears well in her eyes. It was the perfect pairing of her human and wolf sides, complete in every way in being with him.
What more can I say then this story keeps getting better and better the more I read. Lucas is continuing to fight his feelings for Mia. He feels that he isn't good enough for her and believes she deserves someone better, a true alpha that he feels he is not. While Mia finally comes to the realization that Lucas will not budge on being with her, she decides to go the friend route instead. She would rather be his friend then nothing at all. But that becomes very difficult for her and Lucas both, when they are constantly around each other. As the story goes on, Lucas and Mia go to the office to talk to Mr. Sparks about the LoopSource deal. But when they arrive they walk into a pack meeting. This is when we get to meet more of Mr.Sparks pack and we finally meet Lucas's older brother Llyr and his pack. Along with Llyr's beta Colin. Who unfortunately seems to have his eyes constantly on Mia. Mia also finds Colin attractive, and Lucas is not too happy with that. He is ready to rip his throat out after he sees the exchange between Colin and Mia. After the meeting, Lucas tells his younger brother Lev to take Mia and watch her. Oh can I just say that have a soft spot for his brother Lev. I love his character. He is charming, sweet, funny and so adorable. He loves Lucas so much. He wants to see Mia and Lucas together, because he sees the difference in his brother now that Mia is in his life. While Lev and Mia are in her office having a conversation, Colin decides to burst in and puts on his Charm and convince Mia to be his mate. Mia is falling for it, until Lucas barges into the room and drags her out. He does not take kindly to another man trying to lay claim to Mia. Even though he doesn't lay claim to her himself. This is where the story gets a hell of a lot more interesting. Mia wants to learn more about being a wolf, so Lucas takes her to a hiking trail so he can teach her how to defend herself in wolf form incase of another attack. I loved this part. We get to see them both in their wolf forms. They are both playful and fun with each other as wolves. Mia learns that while in wolf form she can hear Lucas's thoughts and vice versa. At first she is in embarrassed to have Lucas read her thoughts, but then decides to go with it. While they are enjoying this time as wolves, Mia get separated from Lucas and runs into a wolf pack. As soon as she stumbles upon them, they pounce on her and try to claim her and get her to submit. Of course Lucas comes to her rescue and gets them to free her. Then they take off to where they left their clothes and car to get the hell out of there. After they get back to their clothes, they shift back to their human forms. Mia is still so shaken by what just happen and clings to Lucas. Things start getting heated pretty quickly. Lucas and Mia have such amazing chemistry, that it comes right off the page. You can feel the heat and passion between them. When their moment of intense lovemaking is over, Lucas has to open his mouth and ruin it. I seriously wanted to shake him. He tells Mia that what they just did can not happen again. That she needs to find someone else to be with, another Alpha to take as her mate. Who deserves her, because he some how got it in his head that he doesn't deserve her. Which is a bunch of bull, but who I am to say different?! Mia is crushed by this revelation and takes Lucas's car keys and leaves him there. Good for her. I absolutely love Lucas, but he better start taking control of his life and figure out what he really wants and fast, before he loses the one thing that will change his life for the better. What is so frustrating about them is, you know they are both falling in love with each other, but one is fighting more than the other. Stop fighting it, it's going to happen. Well, I hope it will happen. Now the ending. Oh. My. Goodness. I was not expecting that. I felt something was going to happen but not to that. This cliffhanger is so much more intense than the others have been. Now I am just waiting patiently for part 4.

Amazing, I loved it. Once again I can't get enough of this story. Mia is stronger than ever in this book. She is captured by Mace, from the Red Wolf pack, along with her best friend Jupiter, but she doesn't go down without a fight. She continues to grow as the story progresses and she continues to protect Jupiter and herself no matter the cost. I loved how Jupiter handled Mia's secret and how she continues to stick by her. While Mia is fighting for her life, Lucas is planning a rescue with his father's and brothers packs. And Lucas finally, FINALLY realizes what and who he wants and he is willing to do whatever it takes to get it. He is coming into is own, finally acting like the True Alpha he is, and I am loving him for it. He proves to everyone, especially Colin that Mia is his. What is hotter and sexier than that?! Nothing. He is going after his Mate and nothing will stop him. Lev is adorable as ever. I really love his character and how loyal he is to his family and especially Lucas. I am really hoping that he makes it out of this alive, because I would absolutely hate to see anything happen to him. As the story progresses, Mace brings in a Witch by the name of Hecca, and it's not looking to good for Mia at this point. Not only does Mia now have to fight against Mace, she has to fight against Hecca and hold out until Lucas comes to her rescue. Last but not least, we seem to have a surprise Ally in Jak. I really don't know what to think of his character. He seems like he might have an ulterior motive to helping Mia, but not quite certain. Who is he and what does he have planned?

WOW! Just when i thought this series couldn't get any better, I was so so wrong. This story starts off where Captured leaves off with Mia escaping with Jupiter, just to be caught and brought back to the compound while Jupiter escapes. While Mia is being brought back to the compound, Lucas, Mr. Sparks and Llyr's packs are moving onto the compound for a rescue mission. Just as everything is going as planned, things spiral out of control. Fights break out, shots are fired. Lev is severely injured, Mr. Sparks is injured along with Lucas. At this point, I was thinking no more could go wrong for them, but nope, things couldn't get any worse, Mia walks right into the middle of the chaos. Mia is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice that will forever keep her from ever being with Lucas, all to save the packs she's grown to love and care for. Mia shows absolute strength and loyalty in this book. I admire her character so much for that reason alone. She goes above and beyond to do anything to keep Lucas and the packs safe. No matter the cost. Mia's sacrifice changes everything for Lucas though. Lucas is dead set on not allowing Mia's sacrifice go any farther. He absolutely couldn't be any sexier than he is in this book. He knows what he wants and will do everything in his power to make sure he gets it. He still feels that he doesn't deserve her, but his love for her has taken over and is in full control. After all is said and done, we are hit with a major shocker at the end of this book. One I was totally not expecting. Also, Mia's feelings for Colin are growing, and I am not liking that one bit. I like Colins character a lot, but Mia is meant to be with Lucas. I so can't wait to see where this story takes us. What will happen with Mia and Lucas? Will Colin stand in their way? Will Lev make it through this ordeal? What will happen with the Red Pack? So many questions. Not enough answers. I can't wait to get my hands on Claimed, the final book.

A Beautiful Ending to an Amazing series. This series has everything you could ask for. A Sexy Alpha, A Strong Heroine, and an Amazing story. It will take you for one hell of a ride. You will get so immersed in these books from the moment you start reading them, that you won't put them down until you get to the very last page. If you have not started this series yet, you are seriously missing out. I don't want to say to much, because I don't want to give anything way. So I will leave you with this. Lucas will have your heart breaking while slowly mending it back together, Mia will show you what a true heroine is like, Lev will have you falling for his Charm and leave you laughing, and Mr.Sparks will show you how much a father would risk for his family. These books for me showed what it is to be Compassionate, Loyal, Loving, and Caring. Most importantly these books show you that no matter who or what you are, you always have a place where you belong, the challenge is finding that one place and never letting it go.
